Join CEETL's Spring QLT Hybrid Teaching Workshop!
This workshop supports faculty in redesigning their courses from traditional modes of instruction to hybrid learning. Faculty participate in a face-to-face session, asynchronous online activities and a final synchronous online session. It is purposefully organized in a hybrid format, so faculty are able to experience hybrid learning from the student perspective.
The focus of this experience is on best practices in hybrid teaching and will expose participants to numerous tools. However, because everyone's iLearn to-do list is unique, for faculty interested in learning specific how-tos for iLearn tools, please email email@example.com
for a one-on-one consult. Experiencing things from the other side can be quite illuminating!
It is strongly recommended that faculty participate in all three sessions as each session builds on the next. Sessions include:
Face-to-face session in LIB 286: Thursday, February 27 from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm
Asynchronous session via iLearn: 1-2 hours of work anytime between 2/27 - 3/3
Synchronous session via Zoom: Tuesday, March 3 from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm
This workshop is part of CEETL’s Equitable Teaching Series which explores foundational teaching approaches that foster equity and inclusivity in support of student success. While funds are available, CEETL is able to pay lecturing faculty $50 per participant for each face-to-face and/or synchronous online Equitable Teaching Series workshop they complete. For lecturing faculty attending an ETS workshop, please be sure to register, complete the sign-in sheet, and fill out the necessary paperwork to receive funding.
