AI Online Asynchronous Course

The CSU Online Course Services is offering the AI Tools for Teaching & Learning course for FREE to CSU faculty and staff. Learn basic AI terminology, engage in hands-on exploration of AI Tools, learn strategies for detecting AI-generated content, and techniques to address potential misuse of AI tools by students. Participants will apply the knowledge gained to develop a personalized AI use policy for their course and find resources to maintain currency in this dynamic field. Course Commitment: 3 weeks, 20-25 hours, online, asynchronous.  Seating is limited due to high demand, so register early. Dates Offered: Oct 07, 2024 – Oct 27, 2024 (Fall 2024); Nov 04, 2024 – Nov 24, 2024 (Fall 2024)

Mental Health First Aid training

Registration for two Winter 2025 Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training cohorts is now open. It will remain open until sessions reach capacity and wait lists are full.

Register as soon as you can confirm availability, as sessions fill quickly.

CSU Racial Equity Leadership Alliance Offerings for Faculty

SF State is one of nine CSU campuses that have joined the CSU Racial Equity Leadership Alliance, a partnership between the CSU system and the USC Race and Equity Center. This year-long alliance provides many benefits to member campuses, including SF State staff and faculty, such as a Racial Equity Learning Series, a Virtual Equity Resource Portal, and Campus Climate Surveys.

Spring 2024 Student Success Analytics Certificate Program

 Upcoming Spring 2024 Program Registration Now Open - Registration for the spring cohort from January 26, 2024 - April 19, 2024 is now open on the website! It is free for faculty from the CSU. Teams from departments are encouraged to participate. Registration deadline is December 15, 2023.
