AI Workshop: What have we learned about the student writing process with GenAI?

Here's a blurb for Mar 13: Join SF State writing faculty from across the disciplines for a discussion of student writers and AI. We’ll address questions such as: Does AI have a role to play in a writing class, or does  AI undermine students’ learning and voices? What does responsible AI use look like for student writers? How do students view AI-generated writing assistance at different stages of their writing process? Funded by a CSU Innovation grant, faculty have been addressing these questions and more in their writing classes this Spring. We’ll share what we’ve learned so far, and have plenty of time for discussion and Q&A. We hope to see you there!
