A Familiar Space, A Fresh Start: Faculty Commons Open House!

CEETL invites all SFSU faculty to join us as we reimagine and relaunch the Faculty Commons!

Over the years, this space has served many purposes—from faculty gatherings to campus events. Now, we're excited to bring it back to its original spirit: a welcoming space for faculty to connect, collaborate, recharge, and simply be.

Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to read or grade, a comfortable place to enjoy lunch, a space to meet with colleagues, or an opportunity to unwind through crafting, mindfulness, or conversation, we hope the Faculty Commons will become a place you can make your own.

Come by our Open House on October 20, anytime between 12 and 2 PM! Light refreshments will be available. Explore the space, reconnect with colleagues, share your ideas for how you'd like to use it, and help us envision what the Faculty Commons can become.

Most importantly, we want this to be a space for faculty, shaped by faculty—a place to foster community, creativity, connection, and belonging across campus.
